The Lowlands is well known for producing mostly floral and gentle whiskies, sometimes referred to as 'The Lowland Ladies'. If that sounds like just your sort of thing then this is the tasting set for you. Today there are relatively few malt whisky distilleries in the Lowlands (although some new will start releasing whisky soon...), but the region is also home to a number a grain distilleries with a couple of examples included here.
